Most people who wish to lose weight choose diets as the major mean for fighting overweight.There are no doubts they are right. Effective weight loss is inconceivable without a diet, or at least proper nutrition.Today there are many diets known,but not all of them can prove good for you.

Archive: Grapefruit diet

THE GRAPEFRUIT DIET

grapefruit dietThis diet in average gives 3-4 kg weight loss weekly; there are enough vitamins, but it is not cheap diet (because of grapefruits). Contra-indication – do not eat after seven evenings.

Day 1
Breakfast: a grapefruit or juice from it without sugar, 2 slices of a ham 25g each (without a white fatty bordering), coffee or tea without sugar.
Dinner: a grapefruit and vegetable salad filled with a lemon juice (any not starchy vegetables + greens). A portion is 250g.Coffee or tea.
Supper: the meat boiled or roasted on a lattice (150g raw weight of the meat), green salad with a lemon juice (200g), tea with a honey spoon.

Day 2
Breakfast: grapefruit or juice from it + 2 eggs (not roasted), tea or coffee without sugar.
Dinner: grapefruit + 50g cheese (better 20-30% greasiness), you can replace it with 150g of low-fat cottage cheese.
Supper: grilled fish 200g, the big salad from green vegetables filled with lemon juice and olive oil (a teaspoon of a lemon juice and as much olive oil) + a slice of black bread or a crisp bread (20g).

Day 3
Breakfast: grapefruit or juice from it. 2 table spoons of porridge or muesli with a table spoon of raisins and 2-3 of the crushed nuts (except a peanut) with addition of fat-free yoghurt or milk (4 table spoons).
Dinner: grapefruit, a cup of vegetable soup or a transparent broth with 2 crisp breads.
Supper: half of grapefruit (to eat before sleep), 200g hens (a grill or boiled), 2 baked tomatoes. Tea.

Day 4
Breakfast: a glass of tomato juice, boiled egg, tea with a lemon.
Dinner: grapefruit + the big salad from carrots or green vegetables (a cucumber, pepper, a celery, salad leaves, a broccoli etc.) with lemon juice and olive oil + a slice of bread or a toast.
Supper: the boiled or stewed vegetables – cabbage, a beet, carrots,  celery, a vegetable marrow. You can try any combination except a potato and corn (no more than 400g). Tea. For the night a glass grapefruit juice or fresh grapefruit.

Day 5
Breakfast: fruit salad (grapefruit, oranges, apples). Coffee/tea with  lemon.
Dinner: a baked big potato with salad from cabbage or any green vegetables (200g).
Supper: the beef stake (200g) either a hen (250g) or fish (250g). Baked tomato or just tomato juice. For the night grapefruit or juice.

6 and 7 day and you can choose any of above-stated as you wish. Every day when you feel strong hunger, it is possible to add between the basic food intakes a glass of kefir, an apple or an orange, and also 1 teaspoon of honey to sweet tea once a day. Only green tea is optimal and with a lemon, if that is not present not to drink dark/black tea! Coffee only fresh prepared or an espresso.  For the night you can eat only grapefruit, no any dairy stuff! Better to eat 5 hours after each food intake. Try not to use salt or in moderate quantity. Salt could be replaced by dry grasses. Sauces are forbidden. Spices are better to forget for a while, except red pepper. Fish can be used from cans, but only with its own juice (it is better than fish). The herring and a mackerel, and also other fat types of fish should be forgotten. Meat accordingly lenten. If all on fair the weight flies away quickly enough and without torments.
